Artist’s Statement
The starting point to my work is often a mundane event that takes on qualities of fantasy and storytelling. I reflect on discomfort of growing, comforming to socio-cultural structures and systems of hierarchy.
Egg tempera has become the main method of working for me. The ancient technique, which at its simplest, includes pigment and egg.
Suomeksi
Munatemperasta on tullut eniten käyttämäni maalaustekniikka.
